Research Talk: Quality Assessment of Proposals for Animal Studies and the Resulting Publications
Join us on Tuesday, 18 August 2026, at 13:00 in HIT-E-03 for a research talk by Florian Frommlet from the Medical University of Vienna.
In this talk, Florian Frommlet will present his research on assessing the quality of preclinical animal research by comparing research proposals with the resulting publications. Drawing on a unique database of more than 300 animal study applications and 150 corresponding publications, he will discuss key findings on study design, reporting quality, and the potential of AI-supported approaches to compare planned and published experiments.
