I received my PhD in 2016 at the University of Amsterdam (Developmental Psychology). My doctoral thesis used electroencephalography (EEG) and a longitudinal design to investigate brain responses to words in children with and without dyslexia. Then, I continued as a postdoc in the University of Amsterdam examining electrophysiological responses and EEG networks associated with feedback-based audiovisual learning. In 2018 I moved to the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, at the University of Zurich, where I worked on several developmental studies using EEG, functional magnetic resonance (fMRI) and computational models of decision making. In 2022 I moved to the Neurolinguistics Division at the Psychology Institute of the University of Zurich to study speech-in-noise-comprehension using EEG and a multivariate pattern analysis approach. My current focus is on using my experiences with diverse types of data, methodologies, and researchers to improve reproducibility and open science.

At the CRS, I am involved in the project AFFORD, which aims at creating a support framework for open research data.
